The release next week Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is emerging one of the most important films if not THE most important in recent history.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is also not that big event film or larger than life cinema but the difference between this film and most of the others of the last six months is that it is more audience friendly and is offering some entertainment which the industry hopes will translate into some numbers.
The opening day is the most important for the industry as if the audience comes then it gives hope that cinema is not all about that big event film as you need others to work as well. The industry has got ahead of itself expecting 10-12 crore nett opening day as that will be the top end result for the film and looking at how films are opening you cannot expect top end results as there is likely to be disappointment..
The film has stars like Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani but eventually its relying on a 15 year blockbuster song which has turned out to be a HIT again and that hope the industry has from this film is a lot to do with the song whether people admit or not. So after all that inspiration coming from Hollywood, Europe and Korea for the last twenty years its actually something from the roots of Hindi cinema that the industry is actually relying on.
Who thought Kartik Aaryan's films would open bigger than actors charging 25-50cr! He has made a mockery of those producers who undervalued him.
