Salman Khan recently asked at IIFA 2022 Press Conference - "I am very surprised that the movies of the South are performing so well here. But why our movies are not doing well there."
He later added: "Heroism Films; Southern cinema believes in all-time heroism. Bollywood also believes in it, but no one in Bollywood is doing it these days except for one or two. We should start making such Larger Than Life movies again. People thinks they are cool now, so they think my work is cliche. "

"Like my movies, everyone else needs to make good massage oriented movies. Watching my movies increases everyone's blood circulation. I watch movies from the South but don't get any offers from South movies; they come to me with offers of Hindi movies."
He also wished Ramcharan all the best for RRR's success and his birthday.
"Ramcharan, the son of Chiru, is a good friend of mine. He has done a great job in RRR movies. I wish him more success on his birthday. I am proud of him".
It’s high time for Bollywood to understand what audience really likes unless they will be suppressed by other film industries.
